Aims & Themes
The Geoinformatics FCE CTU 2009 Workshop is organized by Department of Mapping and Cartography, Faculty of Civil Engineering, Czech Technical University in Prague.
The workshop is focused on the relevance of Free and Open Source Software (not only) in Geoinformatics concerning wide range of topics:
- Teaching methods
- Software development
- Public geodata
- Software patents
- Migration from proprietary software to free software at schools, public administration, etc.
- ...

Submission
Please send your abstract in English till August 31 (for virtual participation till September 15; see important dates) to the contant person. Within few days you will get answer if your abstract has been accepted or refused.
The papers are formated as wiki-pages. For more information see help for authors.
The papers can be written in English (recommended), Czech, Slovak or Esperanto (in any case an abstract in English is required). Papers are reviewed. Selected papers will be published in Geoinformatics FCE CTU, Volume 4, ISSN 1802-2669.
There are no registration fees. Moreover you can participate in the workshop session virtually, i.e. to publish an article without personal participation in Prague.
